Umag, a town and a port in the north-west coast of Istria, is a kind of exit and entrance of Croatia to Europe. This famous business and tourist center is at only 40 km from Trieste, 150 from Ljubljana, and 50 NM from Venice. Reception, exchange office, restaurant, toilets and showers, laundry service, grocery shop, repair shop, 50 t travel lift, parking lot, seasonal maritime border crossing and Harbour Master’s Office at the head of the eastern pier of the marina, permanent maritime border crossing in the main harbour, gas station in the vicinity of the marina (200 m). This marina is one of the main ADAC and AMTC information and service points.

Road connections are very good. Umag can be easily reached from all European directions. Distances: Trieste – 46 km, Milan – 440 km, Graz – 350 km, Vienna – 530 km, Munich – 550 km. The airport is in Pula (80 km) and the nearest international airport is in Trieste (90 km).
