Cres island marina location

Located in the northern Kvarner region, Cres island is separated from Losinj Island by a narrow canal but the two islands are very different. Cres is much wilder and more deserted than Losinj and marked by high cliffs on the eastern coast. It's 68km long and is most populous around Cres Town on the western coast. Remnants of Venetian rule are particularly apparent in charming Cres Town which boasts a Venetian loggia in the centre and Venetian coats-of-arms sculpted on many buildings.
Other sights on Cres include Osor which was a commercial centre in the Middle Ages and now is notable for its restored buildings, outdoor sculpture and Musical Evenings in July and August.
Try to stop at tiny Valun, an incredibly picturesque harbour with a protected swimming cove..

The marina has around 450 berths and 120 boat places on land. All berths have water and power supply.

Facilities
Reception, exchange office, restaurant, cafe, toilets and showers, laundry service, grocery shop, nautical gear shop, dentist, repair shop, 10 t crane, 30 t travel lift, derrick for mast removing (20 m), parking lot, and the gas station in the northern part of the marina. The marina offers eight high standard apartments.

Access
By car you can reach the marina by the ferry line from Brestova (near Opatija) to Porozina, or via the island of Krk, which is linked to the mainland by a bridge, and then by ferry from Valbiska to Merag. Ferry lines are frequent during the summer season. Mali Losinj Airport is 50 km away.
