Location
Hvar is a town with a port on the southwestern coast of the island. It lies in a small bay protected by Pakleni otoci southwards and by a low ridge to the north.
Vrboska is a typical small Dalmatian village situated in a narrow, deep bay in the central part of the northern side of the island. Once a home of fishermen and the true fishing tradition which is still visible today in the Fisherman's Museum, it is now a tourist attraction, popular for its authenticity.
The Mediterranean climate is not too seasonal here, indeed, there are more than 2700 hours of sunshine in the year. This is a town with an exceptional cultural and historical heritage. And with its pleasant warm climate, natural attractions, varied hotel, catering, sport and recreational facilities, it attracts tourists all year round.

Berths
The marina has 85 berths and 30 boat places on land. The berths have water and power supply.
Services
Reception, exchange office, restaurant, toilets and showers, repair shop, 5 t crane, parking lot. The gas station is by the crane. Shopping can be done in the town (300 m).
Access
There are daily bus lines to other towns of the island of Hvar. There are ferries from Stari Grad (6 km) to Split several times a day. In Split there are the airport and ferry lines to Venice, Rimini, Ancona and Pescara in Italy. Stari Grad has also ferry lines to Rijeka and Dubrovnik ( Rijeka Zadar Split Stari Grad Korcula Dubrovnik). During the summer season there are regular ferry lines between Hvar and Brac, where there is also an international airport.
